Hemet Police Lieutenant Dan Reinbolt

Lieutenant Dan Reinbolt is the Hemet Police Department’s Operation Bureau Commander. He currently supervises:

  • Patrol Operations
  • Field Training Program
  • Police K-9 Program
  • Recruitment
  • Vehicle Fleet
  • Honor Guard
  • The Body-Worn Camera Program

Lieutenant Dan Reinbolt began his law enforcement career with the Hemet Police Department in 1988 as a Police Explorer. He was hired as a Police Cadet in 1991 and then promoted to Police Officer Trainee in 1996. Lieutenant Reinbolt graduated from the San Bernardino Sheriff’s Academy in 1996 and has held the following assignments:

  • 1996 – Patrol Officer
  • 1998 – Field Training Officer
  • 2001 – Motor Officer
  • 2002 – Motor Officer Instructor
  • 2006 – Promoted to Corporal
  • 2012 – Promoted to Sergeant
  • 2022 – Promoted to Lieutenant
  • Pursuing Bachelor of Science – Criminal Justice Administration, California Coast University.
  • Graduate – California POST Sherman Block Supervisory Leadership Institute.
  • California POST Supervisory Certificate.
