Lieutenant Dan Reinbolt is the Hemet Police Department’s Operation Bureau Commander. He currently supervises:
- Post-Accountability
- Cannabis Regulation Task Force
- K-9 Unit
- Facilities
- Body-Worn Camera (BWC) Program
Lieutenant Dan Reinbolt began his law enforcement career with the Hemet Police Department in 1988 as a Police Explorer. He was hired as a Police Cadet in 1991 and then promoted to Police Officer Trainee in 1996. Lieutenant Reinbolt graduated from the San Bernardino Sheriff’s Academy in 1996 and has held the following assignments:
- 1996 – Patrol Officer
- 1998 – Field Training Officer
- 2001 – Motor Officer
- 2002 – Motor Officer Instructor
- 2006 – Promoted to Corporal
- 2012 – Promoted to Sergeant
- 2022 – Promoted to Lieutenant
- Bachelor of Science – Criminal Justice Administration, California Coast University.
- Graduate – California POST Sherman Block Supervisory Leadership Institute.
- California POST Supervisory Certificate.
