What is measure u?
Measure U is a sales tax measure approved by Hemet Voters on November 8, 2016 that authorized the city to impose a sales tax of 1 percent for ten years to fund general city services.
Measure U pays exclusively for public safety and crime prevention services, fire prevention and suppression services, 9-1-1 / paramedic services, and other general municipal services.

- Purchased FLOCK solution (Automatic License Plate Readers to improve crime solvability).
