Hemet, Calif. – On Friday, July 14th, 2023, at approximately 9:17 pm, a traffic collision occurred on Florida Avenue near Gilmore Street in the City of Hemet. As a result of the crash, three children in their teens were injured, as well as an on-duty Hemet Police officer. The injuries range from minor to moderate, and all four injured parties were treated at an area hospital.
On Friday, July 24th, 2026, at approximately 09:48 AM, Hemet Police Officers responded to a local business after employees reported that a male subject was causing a disturbance, threatening employees, and refusing to leave the premises.
