Captain Jeff Davis is the support services captain and oversees the following areas of the Hemet Police Department:
- Communications Bureau
- Records Bureau
- Professional Standards Bureau
- Traffic Bureau
- Community Services Bureau
Captain Jeff Davis began his career with the Hemet Police Department in 1993 and has held the following assignments:
- 2004 – Assigned to the Youth Accountability Team
- 2006 – Promoted to corporal and was assigned to the crime suppression unit
- 2011 – Promoted to sergeant assigned to the patrol bureau
- 2013 – Assigned to the Riverside County Regional Gang Task Force Region 3 (Hemet San Jacinto Valley Gang Task Force) and supervised a multi-agency team comprised of city, county, state, and federal law enforcement officers
- 2016 – Promoted to lieutenant and assigned to the operations division, which included the patrol and communications bureaus, the special operations unit, and the canine program
- 2018 – Transferred to the investigations division
- 2020 – Promoted to captain, assigned to operations
- SWAT – 19 Years of experience
- Chemical agent instructor
- Past board member of the Hemet Police Officers’ Association
- Current board member of the Hemet Police Management Association
- Bachelor’s Degree in Adult Workforce Education from Southern Illinois University – Carbondale
- Master’s degree in Organizational Leadership from California Baptist University
- Graduate from the Sherman Block Leadership Institute
- Certified – California POST Management
- Certified – California POST Supervisor
