Join us in our first ever Autism Acceptance and Resource Fair on Saturday, April 27th from 1:00PM-5:00PM at 200 N. Harvard Street (rear of the Hemet Public Library). This is a free-community event in support of Autism Acceptance, and helping the community find local resources. This event will include demonstrations, sensory activities, crafts, vendors, resources and prizes.
Officers arrived in the area and located the male subject in the 200 block of East Florida Avenue where an officer-involved shooting occurred and the suspect was subsequently pronounced deceased on the scene.
Following these commands coming from the UAV, the man dropped the knife and willingly surrendered. Officers safely detained him without the use of force and transported him to a local facility for treatment.
