Captain Glen Brock is the Hemet Police Department’s support services captain and oversees:
- Communications Bureau
- Records Bureau
- Professional Standards Bureau
- Traffic Bureau
- Community Services Bureau
- POST Release Accountability Team (PACT)
Captain Glen Brock began his law enforcement career with the Los Angeles Police Department in 1998. While at the LAPD, Captain Brock worked in various assignments such as patrol, crime suppression, and juvenile narcotics.
Captain Brock transferred to the Hemet Police Department in 2006, and has held the following assignments:
- 2006 – Selected as explorer advisor
- 2007 – Selected as a field training officer
- 2008 – Assigned as a school resource officer
- 2011 – Promoted to corporal and assigned to patrol
- 2013 – Promoted to sergeant and assigned as a patrol watch commander
- 2017 – Promoted to lieutenant and assigned to the support services division
- 2018 – Promoted to captain and assigned to the support services division
- 2021 – Assigned as captain to the operations division • Past board member of the Hemet Police Officers’ Association
- 2022 – Assigned as captain to the support services division
- Defensive tactics unit supervisor
- Certified master TASER Instructor
- Pepperball and tactical communications instructor
- Crisis negotiations team leader
- Command post team leader
- Certified advanced force science specialist
- Master’s Degree in Public Administration with an emphasis on Government Policy, Grand Canyon University
- Graduate – California Post Command College Class #68
- Bachelor of Science – Criminal Justice Administration, Columbia Southern University
