Hemet, Calif. — On Tuesday, November 7, 2023, at approximately 6:38 p.m., the Hemet Public Safety Communications Center received a 911 call from the 600 block of St. John Place regarding a disturbance. Moments later, the caller indicated someone had been shot. Upon officer’s arrival they located a crime scene but they were unable to locate a shooting victim.
A short time later, a gunshot wound victim arrived at Hemet Global Medical Center. The male victim subsequently succumbed to his injuries at the hospital. The name of the victim will not be released at this time pending official notification of his family.
Hemet Police Department’s Investigations Bureau assumed the investigation and arrested a 15-year old male juvenile for Homicide. He was transported to Juvenile Hall and is being held without bail.
