Case update: Hemet, Calif. – At the time of the original incident that occurred on September 11, 2023, the Hemet Police Department had not obtained enough evidence to make an arrest. As of September 13, 2023, the investigation into allegations regarding inappropriate online contact with a juvenile by a Hemet Unified School District employee is ongoing. These allegations have been made by a private internet investigative group. The Hemet Police Department continues to work closely with the Hemet Unified School District and the private internet investigative group to obtain all information and facts related to this investigation. These types of allegations are always taken seriously and this case has been forwarded to our Investigations Bureau. All necessary resources will be made available to bring this case to an appropriate conclusion.
