Hemet, CA — On Thursday, August 4, at approximately 8:49 pm, the Hemet Public Safety Communications Center received a call requesting a welfare check on an elderly female in a residence in the 1900 block of Calle Amargosa. Officers arrived at the location and discovered a deceased elderly female with visible injuries.
The name of the victim will not be released at this time, pending official notification of her family. Hemet Police Detectives are investigating this case as a homicide and have arrested a person of interest.
