Hemet, CA. – On Friday, November 17th, 2023, at approximately 4:58 AM, Hemet Police Officers responded to a major injury traffic collision within the 900 block of N. Warren Road. Officers arrived and located a black Toyota Tacoma in the field east of the roadway. The vehicle had obvious signs of being involved in a rollover collision, and further investigation revealed that the Tacoma was the only vehicle involved in the crash. Medical aid was initially summoned. However, the sole occupant of the Tacoma had apparent signs of being deceased.
The Hemet Police Department’s Traffic Division responded to the scene and assumed the Investigation. The identity of the deceased driver is being withheld pending this ongoing investigation. However, the family has been notified. The northbound and southbound lanes of Warren Road between Esplanade Avenue and Devonshire Avenue were closed for approximately 3 hours as traffic investigators conducted their investigation.
